The March

I once attended one
To raise my hand and walk in the sun;
My ancestors decreed the law
To recompense for their emotions, unstirred and raw.

Protesters and I sang a chant;
Towards the north we started to hunt.
On purpose I was in the middle;
Once there, I could see who raved and who became idle.
